The Guyon’s canal is the tunnel through which the ulnar nerve passes through into the wrist. The ulnar nerve controls muscles in the hands and sensation to the little and ring finger and, if it gets compressed, it can cause pins and needles, loss of sensation and mobility, eventually affecting the whole hand in some cases. Consultant plastic surgeon Mr Ghosh will first assess the problem and then, depending on the severity of the symptoms, he can offer surgical correction.
Mr Ghosh offers this procedure at a number of different private hospitals in Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas. Fill in the enquiry form below for more information.
